Why should you attend Conference 2016? 

What's in it for you? Great fellowship and friendships is one of the most common reasons. This is also an excellent opportunity to get to know the members of your club better. Learn about successful and innovative  projects that your club can replicate at the Poster Session. Build lifelong friendships with people who share your vision for a better world. But with the lineup of exceptional speakers, unique breakout sessions, brilliant entertainment, and a fabulous resort full of all comforts and good food, the real question is

Danielle Lallement  - Danielle will speak on bringing young professionals into Rotary. Danielle was chosen as a delegate for the Rotary International Young Professional Summit in Chicago of 2014, and in August of 2015, she crafted and completed the West Coast Young Professionals Summit, which encompassed Zones 25/26 and included both Young Professionals and District Leaders.  She is currently the District Extension Chair for District 5150, and working on the formation of a new club in the Castro area of San Francisco.    read more

Steve Mason - Steve has worked for the Aga Khan Foundation for over eleven years, first as the Manager of External Relations and Grant Management in Afghanistan and then as the Regional Programme Manager in East Africa, based in Nairobi. Prior to joining the Foundation, he held the post of Executive Director of the United Nations Association in Canada, based in Ottawa.He has previously worked as a field worker with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in West Africa.   read more 



Poster Session
If you have a project worth sharing consider participating in the Poster Session at District 5040 Conference 2016.

The poster session is on Saturday morning and is 75 minutes long. The audience will flow through the poster session and stop to discuss those projects that they find interesting and want further information.

Poster sessions provide an opportunity for informal and interactive presentation and discussion of a project or idea by individual Rotarians or a Club. To reserve a space for your club's project at the Poster Session and for more information visit.
